The opposition seems to be entangled in multiple wars including internal ones…
Imminent internal cracks came to surface on Monday immediately the minority leader in the national assembly John Mbadi made public the oppositions list of leaders in the house during the ongoing five day members of parliament induction.
The opposition has for long stolen the limelight with issues and foul cry against persons and institutions thought to stand in their way to success.
This time round all appears to be well with the opposition which is the minority in the bicameral house but immediately John Mbadi who has been fronted by the NASA fraternity as its minority leader in the lower house made public the list of preferred leaders in the house disgruntlement was clear.
Msambweni member of parliament Dori Suleiman flanked by his fellow coastal legislators were on the front line to dismiss the proposed list claiming their contribution at the coast was significant not to warrant any sidelining.
Although NASA chief executive officer Norman Magaya dismissed the list his sentiments being echoed by opposition leader Raila Odinga who holds only John Mbadi and Moses Wetangula are assured of their roles as minority leaders in the national assembly and the senate respectively.
This though seems not to have persuaded the coastal members of parliament.
Odinga has promised to lead the opposition to deliberate on a new list of leaders.
