Kenya’s Samuel Kimani has won his second gold in the on going Paralympics games in Rio in the men’s 1500m race bringing Kenya’s tally to two gold and two bronze medals. Kimani clocked a time of 4.03.25 followed by Brazilian Santos Odair who bagged in silver.
Bil Wilson started the race on high note by being ahead but he slowly faded away and was overtaken with only two laps to go by Brazilian Santos Odair
Odair maintained his position throughout the race before Samuel Kimani outran him towards the finish line and bagged in gold for Kenya
Kimani finished in a time of 4:03.25. Kimani now has two gold medals from the Rio Paralympics after winning the 5000 meters a week ago.
Turkish Deniz Semih came in third and Bil Wilson finished fourth in a time of 4:7.98.
