A section of legislators from Kuria have vowed to participate in the presidential repeat elections on the 26th October and defy a call by the opposition to boycott the elections.

Speaking to the press today, Kuria West Member of Parliament Mathias Robi, the legislatures have acknowledged that the Jubilee government has done major projects of developments in the area and they must ensure they participate in the poll to vote back in the Jubilee government.

Robi has blamed the NASA coalition for denying Kenyans to exercise their democratic rights and participate in the repeat poll. He also stated that the opposition pulled out of the poll having sensed defeat hence resulting to mass action that is pulling down the country’s economy and derailing businesses.

Echoing his sentiments, Kuria East MP Marwa Kitayama that they are ready as Jubilee to participate in the polls.

He vowed to rally Kuria voters in favor of Jubilee and deny Odinga votes.

They have called on the government to put in tight security measures ahead of the polls to following the attacks on IEBC officials witnessed in various parts of Nyanza.
