Deputy President William Ruto has said that the repeat presidential poll is still on.
He said that on Thursday, Kenyans will get another chance to choose the president they want.
He further stated that different institutions should be respected.
He was speaking during this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations.
On his part, President Uhuru Kenyatta made a clarion call for national unity as he led Kenyans in the 8th celebration of Mashujaa Day.
He is now calling on Kenyans to maintain peace as the country heads to the fresh poll on 26th October.
This even as he urged them to turn up in large numbers to vote. He also cautioned those intimidating IEBC to stop.
