NASA Co -Principal Moses Wetangula has dismissed president Uhuru’s Kenyatta’s vote hunt in Bungoma as an exercise in futility.

Wetangula insists that bungoma and the western region as large is an opposition stronghold that will not dance to the tune of the ruling party in the august polls.

Just a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Wiliam Ruto stormed Bungoma county for a vote hunt mission the county delegation led by the senator Moses Wetangula has come out to fault Jubilee’s tour saying its fruitless.

During the tour Jubilee claimed Bungoma is theirs and that the residents will vote for them overwhelmingly.

However according to Wetangula is that the region is solidly behind the opposition and will vote for Raila Odinga in the general election.

Wetangula lashed at the Jubilee government for hiking the cost of living and failing Kenyans in development agenda.

The jubilee brigade has made several visits to Bungoma with goodies to cane farmers and former pan paper employees in an effort to win the regions vote ahead of the august poll.
