Law enforcement sources confirmed to the site that police did show up to the club and made contact with R. Kelly. However, once they determined there was NO actual arrest warrant for him, he was able to continue with the rest of his night.

At the moment, it is unclear if the person who called the police was pranking R. Kelly, or if they thought there really was a warrant out for his arrest. However, police told TMZ, they respond to such calls just to make sure.

As for the party, it was the first time R. Kelly was spotted out since the airing of the new Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly.”
