Opposition Leader Raila Odinga has met with IEBC officers this morning at the Anniversary Towers.
A consultative meeting the electoral commission and all presidential candidates and their running mate had been put off.
The opposition leaders Raila Odinga and his co-principal Musalia Mudavadi met with Chairman Wafula Chebukati to reiterate their position in regards to the elections scheduled for next week Thursday.
President Kenyatta defied the call by Chebukati to hold a consultative meeting and has travelled to the western region for campaigns.
The opposition chief is also expected to head to western to sensitize the supporters to not participate in the elections.
Thursday’s meeting with presidential candidates also came a day after commissioner Roselyn Akombe resigned at the electoral body, saying she could not continue serving under prevailing circumstances.
