For many, starting a business may seem as an uphill task. To many young people access to business capital is still unreachable with stringent terms attached by financial institutions thereby denying many the opportunity to venture into the enterprise world. This may change as the county government seeks to implement revolutionary directives to propel the youth.Stakeholders in Uasin Gishu County have come up in support of the move by the county government to come to the aid of the many youths seeking to start a business a move that will fuel the them to entrepreneurial success.

During the launch of the County Enterprise Development Fund, a program that offers loans to groups, majorly youth, to do business Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has given out revolutionary directives to be implemented by his Government as fuel to propel youth to entrepreneural success.


The Governor has also called on Kenyans to comply with the Physical Planning Act that so as to have better cities that will make everyone comfortable to live and do business.

Experts have called for measures be put in place for sustainability of towns and cities as in the next thirty years 50% of the world population may be residing in cities across the world.

In another bold step to ensure the youth get boosted, Governor Mandago also directed the Department of Youth to set up a customer care centre, which will be giving youth real-time updates and advices on the programs that the County Government has for them.
